TGIF peeps, it’s actually Saturday but lets pretend it’s Friday eve. Typical Friday @ work, two breakfast pizzas, two dozen donuts, and it was also my turn to contribute to Friday treats at work so I brought in a big bowl of sliced fruit from the local grocery. At least there was something a little bit healthy there. Was able to get a nice 1.5 mile walk in during my lunch time, very nice sunny indian summer day in Iowa.
After work had to run to GNC and stock up on some supplements; psylium husk, potassium plus (potassium with B complex and C (helps wards off muscle cramps), MSM 1500, Mega Man Sport multi- vitamin, and Thermo Burst (thermogenic). Thank goodness for the gold card discount to help me save $17. That will go to the Saturday night Poker fund. Dinner was usual, some chicken, half a sweet potato, and 9oz of green beans. Then a late night snack of some cottage cheese with pineapple and a small handful of almonds. All this while dual-booting two computers, my desktop with XP and Windows 7 and the macbook with Windows 7. Learned something very valuable on the macbook intstall, the machine will take 64 bit Windows 7 and work great but, and this is a BIG but, Apple Boot Camp won’t work on 64 bit windows so you lose the Apple OS. So I had to go back and re-install Windows 7 but in the 32 bit mode so I could get Boot Camp to work and get back to OSX. Was never a fan of Vista but so far am loving Windows 7 but for the record I will take OSX Leopard any day over Windows. Also for the record the Apple Magic Mouse totaly ROX, so if you are a mac buy it. By the time I got both machines somewhat where I wanted them it was 11:30 and Jay was pretty darned tired so it was bed time.
Weight this morning was 238.8, the exact same as yesterday. Kinda confused how you remain steady after a kick butt workout the night before. Oh well still down for the week, will have to wait and see what happens Saturday morning. OH the thumbnail picture with this post was a picture my nephew dug up and sent me, it was from xmas 2004 when I weighed around 360is. Gee thanks Rich, see if I will straighten on your Mac issues.
Jay is OUT
HAHA!! thanks for the post Jay, even if I a) didn’t understand most of it and b) felt traumatized after it took me back so clearly to my OWN computer troubles this year!!
keep on keeping on, not EVERY day can be a ‘down’ day on the scale, but MOST can!!
